I came across this really fantastic article written by photographer Corey Ann,
discussing the etiquette for an
“Unplugged Wedding”

I discovered the article while checking out
a local photographer on FB
Amare Images.

A seriously awesome idea
in this new age of instant access to images
via phone cameras and social media.

Here’s the message that was shared with guests,
that prompted Corey Ann’s article.

The article basically argues that guests who take photos throughout
the wedding ceremony and reception,
are in fact hampering the professional photographer
and in turn ‘ruining’ the shots for the Bride & Groom.

When I get married, there are a few things that I will spend ‘the’ money on.
One of them is the photographer.

A good photographer will memorise the wonderful day on film.
A great photographer will make the day even more memorable.

Later this afternoon I will post some links of my favourite photographers
so you see what I mean,
however in the meantime I want to show you a fabulous idea.

I’m sure you’ve seen something similar before,
however making it look FUN! may be the difference between making the suggestion
and getting the actual photographs.
